Tarangire National Park

Covering an area of 2850 km, Tarangire National Park is home to many wild animals and plants lives. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which is the main source of water for the wildlife to quench their thirst. The park is an ideal place to see the huge elephant migration. Between June to October, a huge number of wild animals migrated to the Tarangire River. The number of elephants during this time is so abundant. After migrating from Maasai Mara, the elephants gather around the river. The glorious landscape, the acacia and baobab trees, a high number of elephants, and the African python offer a thrilling experience to visitors all around the year. The thick vegetation hides many predators and is not easy to find like other parks of the northern circuit.

Best Time to Visit
