Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribal people which is still an authentic tribal village living in the past. It is just 15 km away from the town of Moshi, 2 hours from Arusha City, and is the last stop before Kilimanjaro National Park. Here you can produce your own cup of coffee from the beans bought directly from the farm. The local Chagga people will teach you what makes a good cup of coffee. From the village, a small hike will take you to Materuni waterfall which has a height of 80 meters.
