Day 0 Arrival to Arusha Tanzania

A representative will be at the pickup place (airport or bus station) of your arrival, feeling excited while awaiting for your arrival with your name printed on an A4 paper. You will have a look on Mount Meru as you approach Arusha town and enjoy driving across the coffee and mixed banana plantations. Relax in your already-booked hotel in Arusha after a long flight while you are dreaming of your safari tomorrow morning.

Day 1 Arusha To Tarangire National Park

After having breakfast at the lodge, you will leave early to Tarangire National park. It is the third largest park in Tanzania and characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of it.

Tarangire River that flows all year round is the lifeblood of the park. Day 2 Tarangire To Serengeti National Park

The breakfast will be at 06:00. You will be picked up from the Lodge at 07:00 while bringing packed picnic lunch and drive to Serengeti National Park. You will enjoy game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. You will have 4hrs late afternoon game drive

Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous national parks on earth, renowned for its magnificent lions and great migration. It is the home of lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalos, zebras, wildebeest, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. Day 3 Central Serengeti National Park

After having breakfast, at 06;00am you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Since Serengeti is very large, your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants. Your guide knows very well on how to locate the herds. Serengeti National Park is famous for the ‘Great Migration’ of more than one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand zebras each year.

In October and November, they travel from the mountains of the north southwards to the plains, seeking lush pastures. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June, the herds then make their return journey. Even without this mass migration, Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that will not fail to enthrall. Day 4 Serengeti To Ngorongoro Crater

After having breakfast, you will experience a game viewing in Serengeti for three hours. Then, you will proceed with a game en-route and arrive at Nabi gate to have lunch. You will then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to have dinner and stay overnight at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge F/B

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater To Arusha

On this day, you will start early at 06:00am for a game drive (with a picnic lunch) in the Ngorongoro Crater. As animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 feet high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.

Your driver / guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After all the great explorations in Ngorongoro Crater, you will go leave the crater To Arusha for accommodations at Planet Lodge Arusha
